SPEECH AND LANGUAGE ASSESSMENTS AND THERAPY
Breena specializes in comprehensive assessment and therapy for various speech and language disorders, including:
Apraxia (Childhood Apraxia of Speech) A motor speech disorder affecting planning and coordination of speech movements. Symptoms include inconsistent speech errors, difficulty imitating sounds, and effortful speech.
Motor Speech Disorders Difficulties with muscle strength, coordination, or movement impacting speech clarity. Symptoms include slurred speech, difficulty with pitch and rhythm, and facial muscle weakness.
Expressive Language Delays Challenges in using language effectively. Symptoms include limited vocabulary, grammar difficulties, trouble naming objects, and frustration in communication.
